Need more Tool - Make your own
Written by Shawn

10,000 daysI'm glad to be writing for breakingmusicnews and with me here the site just got alot better.  I love real music so you wont see me writing about crap pop that most radio stations play.  Let's get started with something very interesting.  I was messing with the new tool cd (fake or not) last night and I found somethng interesting.

First open the last track "Viginti Tres" then insert the third track "Wings for Marie" in front of it. Next open the fourth track "10,000 Days". The two tracks will be the same length and amazingly they make A TOTAL NEW SONG. The song plays great with all three songs combined. You can tweak the settings with audacity to make it sound even better. It's not a perfect match but does make a great song. Now sit back and have a Toolgasm.

The Raconteurs

The Raconteurs

When I first first found out about this new band, I looked at the lead singer and said to myself, "Wow, he really looks like Jack White". Turns out he was, but that's not where the surprises ended. I learned more about the band and its members which were Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler, who are The Greenhornes rhythm section which really hit me, and I'll tell you why. Last summer my friend and I went to go see The Whitestripes live at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver B.C. Everything about the show was awesome, especially the opening band, The Greenhornes. Now I had never heard of this band before and thought they were some small act out of nowwhere, but they were really, shockingly good. I'd go see them again. Anyways The Whitestripes came out and played an amazing show as well and that show really cranked out the talent. Then a few days ago I saw the Raconteurs new video "Steady as She Goes" and sat their looking at the lead singer, thinking about how much he looked like Jack White. I looked more into it and found out that it was Jack White, but not only that, it had the rhythm section from The Greenhornes in it! I couldn't believe it and it took me awhile to take it all in, So I advise you to really look out for this new band, I have a feeling they may have something going on.

Jack White - guitar, vocals, keyboard

Brendan Benson - guitars, vocals, keyboard

Patrick Keeler (The Greenhornes) - drums

Jack Lawrence (The Greenhornes) - bass guitar

Product Review: Swiss Army Knife MP3 Player (Swissbit)
Written by Thomas Czaszynski

Swissbit Swissmemory is it's name. No you won't be able to take it on a plane with you. Not that it has a plastic bomb in it or anything. It's not no ordinary mp3, but the latest innovation for a Swiss Army Knife. The mp3 player comes in 1, 2, and 4gb versions (sounds a little like Nano's spacing?). The USB part is detatchable, given you more flexability. Not only is it able to play MP3, WMA, OGG, but it also has a built in FM-tuner. Now that's a must have, because who wouldn't want to pick up radio signals when their out in the wild? The Swiss Army knife has the knife, file, screwdriver, and scissors. The battery life is an expected 8 hours.

The 1gb will cost $275 USD, and 2gb $415 USD. It's expected release date is November 15th, 2006.
