The WCB is the band I am currently in and play keyboard for. We have 4 members currently, Myself on keyboard, Justin on Guitar, Stephen on Bass and Eric on Drums. We had a lead singer but we kicked him out due to lack of contact with us. Currently we might being using this Eoin fellow I happen to be friends with. We have played some shows in Abbotsford with more lined up and some in Vancouver too. We have one song recorded at the moment, from months ago, with no vocals. It's not the greatest song we have, nor that polished off. Although, you can see what we are like.

I also play drums in another band called Schuul. We have some recording up but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We used a tape recorder to record this stuff and everything is really screwed up but we have fun doing it. Infact the drums barely sound like I'm even playing what I am, it sounds like crap. But I suppose I shall let you hear it anyways.

Really for both of these bands I am in, these recording are terrible. I suggest you just come see us play, we really clean up nice.
I'd also like to add I am currently working on solo stuff and starting a new band with 2 friends. It will be more Alternative, less catchy, more meaningful things. I'll keep you posted for when recordings of that is done.

Hey pretty cool. You got the whole independent band marketing yourself technique out there with the myspace, and posting in forums like this.
One thing is on your band page, I dont see any pics of the band.. I personally like to see what the bands like so I can get more of a feel for them.
Also you songs have no vocals?

Yeah we have a few pictures we are gonna possibley today actually.
And as far as vocals go, we have some lyrics, it's just we are inbetween kicking out the singer because he practically disapeared and getting a new one.
Hopefully soon new things will be recorded with vocals.
Possilbey in te next couple weeks.

You can always take the easy road and find some really attractive singer, sorta like "No Doubt" had.

Hahaha, errrr well we have a singer in mind, and if that fails the guitarist, bassist and myself will pull together and sing then.

What does WCB stand for?
Oh and great display pic.. Everyone should have a picture of themselves as the avatar so it builds community. I will do that soon for myself.

I had nothing to really do with this name actually, but it's just our name and not our music so i don't really mind.
And thankyou. I love Hunter S. Thompson. But yeah that's not me so I'll change it soon i guess to myself hah.

I was confused, I came onto the forum and saw your display pic changed before reading this. I'm like woh whys the older guy changed his display picture to a younger girl lol..

I haven't been on here for a while but I thought I would let everyone know that The WCB has just finshed recording for our 7 song EP and hopefully will be sold at our show this friday.
So everyone should come see us and buy our EP if its being sold.
