Wikipedia defines country rock as
Country rock is a musical genre formed from the fusion of rock and roll with country music.
The music also has a blues and soulful sound in some cases.
Hello,
We are Uncle Lucius from Austin Texas.
Uncle Lucius is a combination of austin musicians previously from four other local bands name Something Johnson, Molasses Creak, Long Time Comin and The Kevin Galloway Band. The bands style of music is defined online as country rock even though it could cross over into many different genre's. Singer Kevin Galloway is classically trained in voice since a young age. He grew up singing in church and you can certainly feel the soul in his voice. Bass player Hal Vorphal studied literature at a Utah University and combined with singer Kevin Galloways natural song writing skills makes for some very creative story lines.
We have older free mp3 downloads and videos up at our primary website.

We would love some feedback if you have time. Are there any other genres that you feel we would fit in or should be listed as? Feedback is very important to us. Be honest, thats more important to us than anything. Good or bad it only helps us grow as musicians.
Thank You
Drew Franklin

Thank you for your post. Strangely enough, even though I have no time for country music, I have very positive feedback for you. To be honest, I thoroughly enjoyed your music. It had edge and a unique blend of a classic rock/bluesy sound with just the right amount of country flavour; not too dramatic like most country music today. I hope to see your style of music as the future of country. _________________
