| Quote: | | t doesn't matter that iPod lovers can spend up to £300 on their gizmo. Apple operates on the basis that the iPod life expectancy is a year, and that's it. |

Basically Apple is making money on the premise, that it makes an ipod, you buy it and if you use it a lot, it will break and you'll have to get the new one.
Their second core marketing plan, which is the honest one is just making better and must have ipods.. Like 20gb, then 40gb, then 80gb, then nano, then video...
So by many of the people living the iPod lifestyle, which they can't live with out now its cost an average of $300 or so.
me personally being a nano lover,, I'd say itrs worth it! _________________

| How big is your nano? I heard they break easily because they're so thin. |

It's not just nanos, its practically all ipods.
Ask any long time ipod owner, they probably have gone through 2 at least.
But the nanos are more easier to breaking.
I got the 2gb white.
The first one i bought, it would have a 2 hour battery life right outa the box but I returned it and now I got the 14 hours as promised. _________________

| It seems like everyone has to return theirs and get new ones and it just seems like a big hassle. |

Funny, I've used mine non-stop for two years, drained the battery countless times, and overall treated it mediocre at the best. And, mine keeps coming back for more. People need to stop bitching about iPods and realise that god didn't just gift the people of this planet with genitals, he gave us the iPod aswell. _________________ 99% of music sucks. |
