Rage against the I-Pod

Sorry to all those children out there who love the i-pod, and whose mommies and daddies bought them one for Christmas, but i need to rage.
I realize that by being able to own a portable device; that caries all your personalized play lists widens the music horizon. It makes music accessible anytime the listener may choose. But I am getting sick of seeing everyone no matter where I am with little white ear buds in their ears. I ride the bus every morning and every day after school, each time there is at least half the riders jammin away to their music. Which volume it turned up to max I guess to block out the engine and avoid awkward conversation. At school, on return from Christmas it seemed like everyone had received an i-pod. At lunchtimes I see people walking around silently sharing headphones with friends. Or groups of people all just sitting, each person with one headphone in. It seems like there is more meaningful times to share with people then sharing a song.
ipods are far too overused.

Brilliant and just pure funny. His one with the xbox is pretty funny too.

But I realllllly gota disagree with you. I got an iPod nano..

I hate the idea of too much songs, as I was very pleased with my older 64mb I had for a couple years.. I never need more than 25 songs.

Apple created a craze with the iPod, and people just love it.

Whats wrong with people loving it, it's great, a nice popular mp3 player.

What do you have as a suggestion to an alternative mp3 player. I guess it would be cool if everyone did bring a ghetto blaster to school and listened to their own tunes, be more unique and old school...

Its the only mp3 player with its own isle at futureshop.. I simply love my nano!

Well. I will have to disagree with you.

Just yesterday I got my iPod Nano, just a small 1GB one, nothing big. I have to say I love it.

I do still talk to people but there are those times when no one wants to talk or you are pissed off and don't want to talk.

They are also great for when you are walking or running. I usually go for a walk and a run every day. Today, I went with my iPod. I liked it even more.

At school, people use them in class. I like it cause a lot of the loud people use them too and it shuts them up for a change.

Anyways, that is my Two Cents.

Thomas wants me to end this with "EAT SHIT AND DIE" but I see no reason to say that.

What does the iPod have to do with people being tools? I've noticed people have been just as big of assholes as they've ever been. iPods added just make them look like trendy tools.
I've owned mine way before the i-Revolution began and I never turned into an asshole with one bud in. Actually, I ditched the buds.

yeah but most people now are just buying ipods to compare them and show em off. Half of the people with ipods dont even like music
